A spec sheet will tell you a painter rolls 300 sqft an hour. Nobody paints a room at 300 an hour. Our rates are whole-task: cutting in, standard prep, baseline masking, ladder and bucket moves, loading the brush and roller, working room to room, and both coats. We anchor to PCA and MPI, then calibrate to what a crew actually produces. That’s why the hours come out true instead of optimistic.
Gallons calculate per product and round at the product total, never per line. A 12-line job needs what it needs, not 8 extra gallons of somebody’s lazy rounding.
Once a quote is sent, it’s a snapshot. Nothing changes behind anyone’s back. Revisions become new versions, so you and the customer are always looking at the same document.
